All units are made of precast concrete with a strength in excess of 40 MPa at 28days.

• Outside installations must be a minimum of 50mm above ground level to exclude stormwater.
• Chequerplate covers can be fitted with recessed drop handles and /or frame to suit brick paved areas.
• Cast iron covers, with built in inspection opening, can be supplied in place of standard chequerplate covers.
• Installation of arrester must be in accordance with current plumbing regulations.
• Epoxy coating  is available upon request.
• Increments available on request.

NOTE : Where circular gas-tight inspection covers are fitted

(450 diam for 400 litre arrester & 600 mm diam for larger arresters) a minimum of 600 mm vertical clearance between the underside of the cover and the static water level in the arrester is necessary to facilitate routine servicing

Standard Maintenance Instructions

The arrester is designed to trap all fats and oils contained in the washwater. It should be completely cleaned out at THREE monthly intervals or more frequently if necessary.

After cleaning refill with clean water to seal the system.

Tank waste must not be discharged to the sewage system.

Increments for the above units are manufactured to order, however some standard height (300 – 600mm) increments may be available ex-stock on some lines.
